Our mission is to create new products, pursue innovative technologies, and apply continual improvements and efficiencies to ensure the sustainable use of the world’s ocean resources.

Our company was incorporated in 1974 on its current 20,000 square meter site in Surrey, British Columbia to service the needs of BC’s fishing industry and has grown to be recognized as one of Surrey, B.C.’s largest employers and vertically integrated seafood producers in British Columbia. Our wholly owned processing division, doing business as Scanner Enterprises, has focused on key BC caught species such as wild salmon, hake, herring, tuna, shrimp, and groundfish. In peak periods, we process up to 1 million lbs of herring and 250,000 lbs of salmon per day. Together with our 6 million lb on-site cold storage, we offer a one-stop solution for our customer’s seafood, processing, and storage requirements. In addition to our processing operations, for over 30 years, Pacific Salmon Industries has imported a wide variety of sustainable and socially responsibly produced seafood products from around the globe.
